I listen to NPR a lot.
I especially love to hear uplifting stories and this one takes the cake!
A man was mugged recently and instead of becoming a victim
he actually took his mugger out to dinner...
I won't say anything else here, except ...
if you want something to lighten your heart on a Monday morning..
Go Here. Read + Listen.
And then see if you don't smile at the next stranger you see...

...from the lovely (ever so lovely) blog Decor8 ,
had the graciousness to post some of my work on her blog on Friday.
It was such a positive, uplifting post. My work was highlighted as a satellite
to the larger issue of positive creative energy, what inspires us, and how it impacts our day to day lives and vision of ourselves.. So much of her blog is really about that. SO, if you need a bit of something to make you smile in your everyday.. turn to Holly, our very own Creative Cheerleader!ps- Thanks Holly!

I really wish I could remember where I saw this first!
Its a counter that you install on your website to show the location of your visitors.
It has the most wonderful feature though:
when you and another person are online (or perhaps many people!)
the hearts of the current viewers blink and glow in harmony!
Isn't that just lovely?
SO, add one to your site too: who's.amung.us
and we can all be connected together.

This is a plastic bag animal that springs to life with a swoosh of air from the subway below!
Just imagine, walking along and finding this sad looking beast only to see it jump up right in front of your eyes!
Joy!!

Brad sent along a nice email about my work just a bit ago.
When I went to his great site, DrinkMoloko, I found this!
Deus Motorcycles.
They take existing bikes and rework them into the most incredible motorcycles I've ever seen.
I want one just so I can go out in the garage and look at it.
Oh, and their site isn't half bad either!
Thanks Brad!

Jan emailed all the PoppyTalk Handmade Shop keepers
with a few questions about their studios and inspirational spaces.
She posted my humble surroundings over the weekend and you can find it right here
Thanks Jan!!
