That is a song. Such a song. I just forwarded your link to someone I haven't talked to in a very long time. I don't know why - but that was where that song touched my soul. Jen www.champagnewednesdays.com
joanna newsom is brilliant. whoever created these paper animals is a prodigy as well... i'd do anything to be able to create something worthy enough to be set to one of her songs... this is simply stunning. thank you for sharing what you find is inspirational!
Thank you! I have been a fan of your art shop for a while but just found your blog. So many great links and musings. I have you bookmarked. Nice to meet you.
ChampagneW.. Nice to meet you to! And thanks for the nice comment about the blog! There are so many good things out there aren't there? And it's so nice that we can share them so easily with each other.
I really like your blog too.. It's so elegantly designed! I added you to my daily reads list...
Devoted! Thank you so much for letting me know who the artist is! I was wondering and wondering..
by the way, I went to your blog {happy belated birthday to you and yours!) What a fun idea.. to make a movie as a way to celebrate! A nicely art directed one - no less...
I was listening to it without the sound... the little horse running in the air without intent or purpose (or soul, not to be corny) almost made me cry! I mean, it was the saddest I think I've ever felt through art. Then I turned on the song and zoned out on it. Gotta look her up! Oh, and I added you to my "blogs to live by" list on my blog! (It's still quite new, though.)
