this image reminds me of the day last week when I sat in the hospital waiting to hear the results of my grandmothers arteriogram and then to find out that her heart was very sice and she needed 6 b-passes. She died the next day. It truly was the longest day.

I found your art via decor8--it is some of the best I've ever seen.

oh Anonymous .... I am so sorry to hear of your loss. And so recently... I wish I had added something hopeful and soothing into that image, to balance the sorrow. I am so sorry..... My thoughts are with you, Whomever you may be..

I'm so thrilled you've posted a whole whack of new images. This one gave me pause, because, like the earlier poster, I have waited long hours while my father underwent heart procedures. Personally, I don't see this image as lacking anything hopeful. For me, it shows a steady and vivid aching. The torn and worn paper connects it to a transient environment (like a hospital cafeteria, maybe?). My dad is doing well, I am glad to say. And your art continues to move me.
